Hiking Inside OUt
Our hiking tours allow you to capture the natural landscapes of Antigua, while enjoying the majestic sounds of nature. If you’re an adventurous person, and like being outdoors, you’re going to love these hiking trails. We know each trail perfectly, so you just have to follow the guide! Local fruits and a bottle of water are provided, but feel free to bring along your own bottle of water. Transportation is provided to take you from your resort to the starting point, and bring you back safely. During the hike we’ll point out places of interest, while explaining the rich culture and history, and also the uses of different plants we’ll encounter along the path. Every route is different and requires a certain level of agility. some are steep, some requires you to step up, or climb over rocks, and others are just a calm walk through nature.

Tour Overviews
Jones Valley Trail
This hike provides over head coverage for most of the way. The trail starts just opposite the Inn at English Harbour and leads through the forest up to Shirley Heights lookout. Along the way, we’ll pass through old cemeteries from the 1700s, and our guide will give you a bit of the history.
We suggest wearing good footwear since this is an area know to have a few thorns.

Duration: 2 hours
Carpenter Rock Trail
This hiking trail starts at the stunning Galleon Beach in English Harbour, from where you will have a glimpse of the UNESCO site (Nelson Dockyard), and old English forts.
There will be one short stop at the merimaid gardens where you can take pictures of the natural landscape. The hike then continues up to the Shirley Heights Lookout, where we can unwind to an amazing view, before heading down the lookout trail.

Mount Obama Trail
Mount Obama is the height point in Antigua, and this hiking trail starts at the Christian Valley Agricultural Station in Jennings village. This trail consists of lush vegetation and tropical fruit trees. It's an ideal hike in the middle of nature, with full overhead coverage. Along this trail, we will encounter trees like the coconut, bamboo, and mango trees. There are no dangerous animals, poisonous insects or plants to be worried about.
The view from the top is spectacular, overlooking the west and north coast of Antigua.

Middle Ground Trail
This hiking trail start from the crystal clear Pigeon Point Beach, then goes up, and across to historic military sites. The history and panoramic view of the middle grounds will leave you speechless, only to end this amazing hike, at the famous Fort Berkeley in the Nelson’s Dockyard.

Duration: 1 1/2 hours
Rendezvous Bay Trail
This hike begins at Turtle Bay in Falmouth harbor, and then takes you into the hills of Falmouth. There isn’t much overhead coverage, so be sure to bring your caps and sunscreen. Once we arrive at the beach, a relaxing swim is ideal to cool down in the crystal clear waters, and white powdery sand of rendezvous beach. Don’t forget to bring your swimwear!
